An Anti Clockwise loop along Rutland Water South Shore & over to the Eyebrook reservoir with great Welland Valley views but beware the Stockerston Mile climb

The Medium route is 48 miles with 2400ft climbing; Both Routes head out together with a gentle warm up on the Southwick to Kings Cliffe loop and then head over to Ketton and the South Rutland shore to Manton. Its then back into the valley down the super fast windmill descent with great views of the Harringworth viaduct. The routes split at Lyddington and the medium loops back to Harringworth down the fast Gretton descent for more superb views. the return is the standard Bulwick to Southwick run.

The Long route is 61 miles with 3050ft climbing ; Leaving the medium at Lyddington you head up the testing Stoke climb then drop down to the Eyebrook Reservoir for a brief much needed rest as the full mile of the Stockerston climb awaits you. (Did you know this is the longest single height gain road in Northants) the reward is a speed run into Melbourne providing the Westerlies are kind. back through the valley you are spared Rocko Hill this time  and head back via the medium route from Gretton.
