25 – Northern lights far as Fox Inn

Way ooop North round the Kendrew Barracks as far as the Fox Inn on the A1

The Medium route is 44 miles; The medium route peels off the long route at Great Casterton and links across to re-join at Essendine so if the fast lot are on form then you might see them on the trip home. Not much climbing on both these routes.

The Long route is 63 miles and 1850 ft climbing;

Starting off to Kings Cliffe then the lump at Collyweston we drop into Ketton. A brief flirt with the A1 at Great Casterton before we head back North of Rutland water through Cottesmore (check Hambleton Bakery as a stop at 24 miles) On to Market Overton then back over the A1 at the routes Northern most point of South Witham. The southern leg is Essendine, Uffington and back over the A1 at Wansford before the direct trip back to base. A great route in new areas.
