One Long route to the nice cycling café Ventoux at Tugby

This route  is 58 miles; It is specifically designed to visit the superb cycling specific Café Ventoux in Tugby Leicestershire.

Drooping into the Welland valley at Gretton there is a short tester up Neville Holt before a steady ride up to the heights of the Café Ventoux. This comes at 30 miles perfect for that mid ride rest. The café opens at 8:45 at the weekends so it should be ok for an early start. After a relaxing refuel it’s a short hop to the legend of Laude Abbey and the rolling Rutland terrain to Belton. Dropping back into the valley at the Eyebrook Reservoir for a crack at Stoke Dry hill. Final return is via Harringworth and Bulwick.

This route also works perfectly in reverse for lots of alternative climbs and is worthy of regular use to take advantage of the top café mid ride.
